A DDoS-protected entry point
Receive incoming email through a gateway with DDoS protection at network level.
INCOMING EMAIL. PROTECTED.
Route incoming email through a DDoS-protected MX gateway to your existing mail server. Keep your origin IP out of public MX records and restrict inbound SMTP access to MailerProtect.
Keep your mailboxes, email clients, and existing setup.
Allow inbound SMTP only from MailerProtect.
01 / HOW IT WORKS
Give incoming email a protected entry point before it reaches your infrastructure.
Your domain’s public MX records point to MailerProtect. Our gateway receives incoming messages, applies SMTP checks, and forwards accepted email to your configured destination.
Configure your firewall to accept inbound SMTP only from MailerProtect, helping prevent direct connections that bypass the gateway.
02 / WHY MAILERPROTECT
Receive incoming email through a gateway with DDoS protection at network level.
Point your MX records to MailerProtect while keeping your destination mail server separate from your public mail entry point.
Screen incoming connections using SMTP checks, SPF validation, and DNS-based blocklists before accepted messages reach your server.
Your mailboxes stay on your server. Your users keep their email addresses and email clients.
If your destination server is temporarily unavailable, accepted messages are queued for another delivery attempt.
Unlimited email addresses and unlimited incoming email volume. No per-mailbox charges.
Tell us your domain and the destination server that should receive your incoming email.
We’ll provide the MX records and connection details for your domain.
Allow inbound SMTP from MailerProtect, restrict other direct SMTP connections, and verify that mail reaches your server.
04 / ONE DOMAIN. ONE PRICE.
An extra layer of protection for your existing mail server.
Your infrastructure.
Your mailboxes.
One protected way in.
MX GATEWAY
per domain / month
MailerProtect is an incoming MX gateway. It receives email for your domain and forwards accepted messages to your existing mail server.
Business owners who manage their own email, system administrators, and anyone looking to reduce direct exposure of their incoming mail server.
No. Your mailboxes and stored email stay on your existing server. MailerProtect handles incoming delivery before messages reach it.
No. Your existing mailbox access and outgoing email settings can stay as they are. Setup changes concern your domain’s MX records and your server’s inbound SMTP access.
Your destination server does not need to appear in your current public MX records. Its IP may still be discoverable through other DNS records, historical DNS data, or email headers. Restricting direct inbound SMTP access is an important part of the setup.
DDoS protection applies to the MailerProtect gateway at its provider’s network level. Other services and any exposed IP addresses on your own server need their own protection.
MailerProtect queues accepted messages and retries delivery when your server becomes available.
This service handles incoming email. You can continue using your existing outgoing mail provider or server.
There are no plan limits on the number of email addresses or incoming email volume for a connected domain.
Yes. Each domain is €2.99 per month and can be configured with its destination mail server.
